CANCELLATIONS & NO-SHOWS POLICY 

 

Cancelling your appointment at any time will result in you losing your deposit/booking fee. Cancelling within 72 hours of your appointment, you will be charged 50% of the treatment total. Cancelling within 48 hours of your appointment, you will be charged in full. Failure to pay any monies owed, the no-show policy will be enforced. If you fail to attend your appointment without prior notice (no-shows) you will be charged in full and if the balance is not settled, future bookings will not be confirmed.
Payment will be taken directly from Stripe where details have been stored safely.

DEPOSITS/BOOKING FEE

 A 20% deposit/booking fee is taken when booking in and then deducted from the total cost at the end of your appointment. All deposits/booking fees are none refundable or movable. Card Capture will be obtained using Stripe to safely store customers details.

RESCHEDULING



You can reschedule up to 72 hours before your appointment, your deposit/booking fee will be lost and not transferrable. Rescheduling within 72 hours of your appointment will result in you having to pay 50% of your booking before any additional bookings can be made.

PATCH TESTS

All services that require a patch test should be booked by the customer and carried out at least 48hrs prior to scheduled treatment/service, if you have not had the booked treatment/service with House of Beaux in the last 6 months. Failure to do so will result in scheduled service/treatment not being able to go ahead and will result in loss of deposit if before more than 48hrs prior to service/treatment, or less then 48hrs prior to treatment, will result in 100% charge of service/treatment.

Clients have to agree/understand, that whilst a patch test has been performed, there is still a possibility of a spontaneous reactions and House of Beaux is not liable for this.

REFUNDS

The salon has a no refund policy. If you're unhappy with your treatment/service the please follow the complaints procedure.

COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE

If in the event you're unsatisfied with your service/treatment, please contact us within 7 days of your service/treatment at House of Beaux. All complaints to be sent in writing to info@houseofbeaux.co.uk. We will aim to review your complaint within 14 days and contact you.

This Privacy Policy was updated in May 2018

Our Privacy Policy has been put together to show and ensure our clients that the following has been considered and explains why and how we use any personal information kept for each of our clients. We would like our clients to be aware that all their personal details are kept safe and not shared.


 How we collect our data


We ask our clients for their personal information either over the phone when they call to make their appointments, online upon booking or when they are here in the salon. We make sure that no details are over heard by anyone else and as soon as they are in our system they are stored safely and locked away. This information includes a home address, mobile, home and work contact numbers, email address, DOB, Doctors details, allergies and some medical history. If they prefer us not to have any or little of this information, that is absolutely fine. Any information given is only used to contact you regarding appointments and to make sure it’s safe for you to have any treatments. For any clients under the age of 16 the data provided must be by a consenting adult.


Where we store our data


Any personal data we have is stored as a hard copy and on our computer system and secured at all times. Everything is kept safe and no information is shared unless legally required to so (i.e. in an audit) or in case of emergency with a medical professional. You can ask to see our personal data we have for you or obtain it at any time.


 How we keep our personal data up to date and relevant


As a returning client you will be periodically asked if there are any changes to the information we have held for you and details updated as necessary. If you change your address or telephone number or any other relevant information you can update us of this at any time by phone or email.


 What we use our personal data for


We will only use any personal information to contact our clients and to make sure treatments are suitable for you. We destroy any client details held that haven't returned to the salon within a 3 year period. We also use personal mobile numbers, email addresses and facebook to send appointment reminders or contact you if you have missed your appointment. We may also contact if you if you have ordered any products to let you know they have arrived. Sometimes you will be contacted if we require a deposit. This can be done over the phone and no card details will be kept. If you are not happy to give a deposit over the phone, you can always come into the salon to do this.


 How our client’s information is protected


Our system only allows staff of House of Beaux Ltd access to the data. All staff members are aware not to discuss these details with anyone. Access is only given to other staff members if you need to be contacted about an appointment, a strand test of if you are having your treatment and you usual stylist/beautician is unavailable.

All our clients have the right to 'opt-out' and can let us know at any point if they would like us to remove/amend any information we have for them.
